  I recieved a month gift certificate here from a friend and after using it decided that I needed to start tanning regularly. I didn't shop around like I should have (I now go to Darque tan where it is SO MUCH CLEANER and friendlier! And by friendlier, I mean atleast they look at you when you walk in) I signed a 6mo contract (shoulda been my first clue) and started going regularly just accepting that the front desk people were just rude and detached from the clients. The tanning "rooms" are just sectioned off of a big room and the beds are old. I tan easily and it took three weeks for me to see color which is unusual. (I used the level one beds but I have ALWAYS used level one beds to tan.) I am not one to squander money but I signed up to a different NON-contract driven tanning salon to continue my tanning and am still getting charged the rest of my 6mo contract but I don't care. I won't step foot back in that cheap salon when I can pay the same price for level 1 AND 2 beds at a clean regularly-monitored facility with actual rooms and knowledgeable friendly staff. Can't wait till my contract is OVER.

  I've been tanning with Island tan for the past 2 years and have been very happy. Christie is always knowledgable and spends time answering my questions, I have also been airbrushed several times and love the results! The beds they have are obviously on the higher end compared to other tanning salons in the area. Definitely try it out! You won't regret it.
